So much has happened this year! It has flown by and I haven't stayed on my plan of life for the year! So much for new years resolutions! lol

Well lets start off with the resolutions. I have gained 5 lbs and I have the title, cover page and dedication done for the book. I am supposed to be 10 lbs lighter and at least 25 pages into the book. Not good. Also per the last post, Grandma Sue passed away February 12 at 1:30 in the morning. She was surrounded by her family as she took her last breaths. It has been hard and I haven't really had a chance to grieve but things will get better. She is finally with the love of her life. She waited 12 years to meet up with him. We actually found a poem she wrote to him right after his death. It was amazing because it showed their love. She put up with a LOT of his crap but she still loved him. Their love and relationship is true love. Now she rests in peace next to him.

The year has been interesting to say the least. My classes are actually going GREAT! I might get the good student discount on my insurance! lol Which is such a change because I don't really like it. I have spent the last couple months working/Interning at Wood Glen Alzheimer's Community shadowing a social worker. I has been an amazing experience getting to know the profession, I can't wait to have my "real" job and do this all the time. However, speaking of jobs, I just got one!!!! So excited! I am going to be working with Greene County Children's Services. Hopefully this will serve as a stepping stone for future employment! It was great timing because I had just finished my internship when they called.

Things are just looking up now. Though it sucks that my grandmother is gone, that is a weight off my shoulders. She isn't suffering anymore and I am not constantly worrying about her. I would rather have her here healthy but I know that just can't happen. I have a job! Doing what my degree is going to be in and I watch two beautiful 5 month old twins in the mornings. It is a great day when it starts off with a baby smiling at me. I couldn't has for a better thing!

Though I am still in financial ruin, I am looking up. With this job, I will be able to pay back my friend for our concert tickets, I will be able to pay more on my credit card and HOPEFULLY I will be able to give some money to my parents and it will get them off my back, at least for a little while. Plus I need to start saving for the next cruise that they are supposedly going to announce soon. So this could suck! But I think I can do it. No more shoes, clothes, purses or eating out. I think I can do it.....maybe :)
